Sofija Lekić is an associate attorney at Stojković Attorneys focusing on immigration, residence and citizenship, labour law, property and human rights matters.
Sofija Lekić is a licensed attorney at Stojković Attorneys (AK STATT), advising domestic and international clients on immigration, residence and citizenship, labour and employment, property acquisition, and human-rights matters, often with an international or European-law dimension.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade with high distinction and also completed undergraduate studies in international relations at the university's Faculty of Political Sciences. She is currently pursuing an LL.M. in the theory and philosophy of law at the University of Belgrade, and is a member of the Belgrade Bar Chamber.
Before joining the firm, Sofija worked at the Republic Public Attorney's Office of Serbia, in the department responsible for representing the state before the European Court of Human Rights, where she drafted submissions, analysed judgments and prepared action plans. She represented the University of Belgrade at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Madrid and Washington, D.C.
Her work spans immigration compliance and the residence and citizenship of foreign nationals, company formation and corporate structuring, real-estate transfers, legal due diligence, and administrative and regulatory matters, including research in the energy sector.
A three-time recipient of the Serbian Ministry of Education's scholarship for exceptionally gifted students, Sofija is fluent in Serbian and English (Cambridge Proficiency) and also speaks French.
